HiGH SCHOOL TOUR

Bands, Musicians, Students

What is it?

Ultraviolet’s High School Tour is a brand-new program where high school bands get the opportunity to tour to other schools and perform in a series of lunchtime concerts.

Here’s how it works:

  • Three acts from three different schools are selected to be part of the tour

  • Each act performs at their own school and at two other schools

  • The concert happens at lunchtime, and students from that school can attend for free

  • You’ll play a 10–12 minute set (approximately three original songs) at each school

  • You’ll be joined by two other high school acts for the tour, and each event will feature all three acts

How do you get involved?

It all starts with your school — they need to be on board with hosting a lunchtime concert in order for you to take part.

Here’s what to do:

  • Talk to your music teacher or arts coordinator — let them know you’re keen to be involved.

  • Send them to ultraviolet.org.nz/high-school-tour/schools — that’s where they’ll find everything they need to know about how it works

Or you can get in touch with us directly — email [email protected] with your name, your act name, and your teacher’s contact details, and we’ll reach out to your school on your behalf.
